Kung fu festival kicks off in Henan

The 12th Zhengzhou (China) International Shaolin Wushu Festival kicked off on Saturday in Dengfeng city, Central China's Henan province. Representatives from 65 countries and regions attended the opening ceremony.

During the festival, 111 foreign teams and 129 domestic teams will compete in the festival, and participating nations are from five continents around the world.

The performance at the opening ceremony of the festival combines martial arts with scenery and dance, showing the beautiful view of the Songshan Mountain and the charm of Shaolin kung fu.
