China launches comics, games cooperation project among Belt and Road nations

A project aiming to facilitate cooperation on comics and games between countries along theBelt and Road route has officially kicked off, Xinhua News Agency reported on Feb. 26. The13th China International Comics and Game Expo, or CCG Expo, will launch its publicexhibition from July 6 to 10, according to the expo's organizing committee.

The expo was put together by the Ministry of Culture and Shanghai municipalgovernment. So far, among other achievements, a meeting has been held between Chineseand Thai enterprises participating in the expo.

The Ministry of Culture has put a great deal of focus on promoting internationalcooperation in the comics and game industries. Some specific measures have already beentaken to create opportunities for exhibitors.
